Dr. Joyee Washington

Dr. Joyee knows how overwhelming building your public health research career can be, she faced it herself. When you don't have experience, you can feel lost, confused, and frustrated. It took tons of practice to push past her fear and intimidation, but she finally learned how to build a successful public health research career to make a positive impact in communities. After pursuing her master of public health degree in health education, she decided to get her PhD in Education with emphasis in research, evaluation, statistics, and assessment. She has taught and mentored public health grad students with fun, innovative strategies to help them build confidence and feel prepared to enter the public health workforce. She can help you take your skills to a new level and become the impactful public health researcher you were destined to be!
